Motherhood mini sessions are short, sweet, and designed to capture the connection between you and your baby. Even in just 10 minutes, we can create beautiful, meaningful images that you'll treasure forever.
What to Expect during your Motherhood Mini Session
These 10-minute sessions are baby-led and relaxed. We follow your baby’s cues, taking natural pauses for feeding, soothing, or cuddles if needed. I provide gentle guidance throughout the session, so you don’t need to worry about posing or knowing what to do.
We will be getting lovely images of you as well as Baby-only images. We’ll photograph them in ways that are comfortable for their developmental stage, whether that’s tummy time, sitting, or being held close.
When you arrive
You’ll be greeted and invited to our waiting area to settle in. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your scheduled session, so you have time to get settled and make sure your baby doesn’t require a quick diaper change or feeding. At your scheduled time, I’ll come get you and your baby and guide you into the studio for your session.

What to Wear
Soft, neutral, or earthy tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you and your baby. Comfort is key, especially for moms. Flowing dresses, cozy knits, simple tops, and bare feet all photograph wonderfully.
Avoid bold patterns, logos, or bright colors if possible. If you’re unsure what to wear, I’m happy to help!
What to Dress Your Baby In
Keep baby outfits simple and comfortable. Plain onesies, rompers, or soft clothing without busy patterns photograph best. The most important thing is that your baby feels comfortable and free to move.
Feeding and Comfort
If possible, arrive with your baby fed and comfortable, but don’t stress if that doesn’t happen. Nursing moments are always welcome if you’d like to include them.
A Gentle Reminder for Moms
You don’t need to look or feel perfect to be photographed. These sessions are about connection, not perfection. My goal is to create images that feel honest, tender, and full of love, even in just a few minutes together.
