Senior Session FAQ
It's best to book your senior session at least 1-2 months in advance to ensure we have plenty of time to plan the perfect session. Many students schedule their sessions during the summer or early fall, but we can work with any timeline that fits your schedule.
Absolutely! Props and personal items can make the session even more special. Whether it’s sports equipment, musical instruments, or something related to your teen’s hobbies and passions, incorporating these elements will make the photos feel more personalized. Just let me know ahead of time what they want to include, and we’ll make sure it’s part of the session!
Typically, we recommend 2 outfits for the session within the given time or 3-4 outfits for extended sessions. This allows us to capture a variety of looks—whether casual, more formal, or something fun and creative to showcase your teen’s unique style. If you have more outfits in mind, feel free to bring them, and we’ll have time for a few wardrobe changes during the session.
We’ll work together to choose a location that matches the vibe your teen wants. Whether it’s a natural outdoor setting, an urban backdrop, or a more personal location, I’ll make sure the setting enhances the session and highlights their personality.
Senior sessions include one location with the option to upgrade to a longer session with a second location included.
Senior sessions last up to an hour with the option to add more time and locations if you would like.
Yes! Family is always welcome in an extended session. There is an additional fee for including family members, but this allows us to capture beautiful family portraits alongside the senior photos. We’ll make sure everyone feels comfortable and included, and you’ll have timeless images of your teen with loved ones.
Yes! Pets are always welcome to join in on the fun. Whether it’s your teen’s beloved dog, cat, or any other furry friend, we’ll make sure they’re included in the session. Just let me know ahead of time, and we’ll plan to capture some adorable moments together!
If the weather is unpredictable, we’ll have a backup plan. I’ll be happy to reschedule or move to an indoor location if needed to ensure the session still goes smoothly.
Yes, 20 digital images, chosen by you, are included in the Senior Session! Additional digital images can be purchased after viewing your proofing gallery if desired. All digital images are delivered via the online gallery with instant download for your convenience.
Yes! I offer a variety of print options, including prints, canvases, and custom-designed albums. These are a great way to display your teen’s memories in your home.
